We are learners for life, leading the way, who make the most of every day. Moorabbin Primary School is the Place to Excel.
At Moorabbin Primary School we provide students with qualities and skills which will enable them to be successful, confident learners who embrace challenges and opportunities. We nurture and encourage our students to be positive and responsible contributors to our local and global communities.
Each year we enrol new students for the coming Prep year as well as in levels throughout the school. Moorabbin does not have an enforced enrolment boundary and while the majority of students come from the local neighbourhood, our community straddles both the Bayside and Kingston council areas.

The children, School Council, staff and I would like to welcome you to the Moorabbin Primary School community and to our website. I believe that the choice
of Moorabbin Primary School is a positive one for the education and well-being of your child. You will quickly find that, through your children attending
our school, you will have an opportunity to join a thriving, active and welcoming community.
The community plays a crucial part in the success of our school and your involvement in school and community activities will enhance your child’s
experience here. Our school has a strong affiliation with famous Australian pilot and pioneer Harry George Hawker, who also attended
Moorabbin Primary School.
Our vision and values encourage and represent much of what we aim to achieve in our school. It demonstrates our commitment to advance both the
academic and personal development of our students. In all sorts of ways, we are confident that the students within our care are provided with the
opportunities to “be the best they can be”. Through enthusiastic engagement in a purposeful and developmental educational program, students
progressively gain the tools they need to be successful life-long learners.
At Moorabbin Primary, it is well recognised that the degree of interest, interaction and co-operation between the family and school is extremely important
in the development of a child's full potential and we look forward to a rewarding association with you and your family should you choose our school.
